PAGE 1 OF 3 BY BOS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Ne RESOLUTION NO. 90-64 A RESOLUTION REZONING LOT 9, BLOCK 0, GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS #B5, SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM: A-R/2A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on March 5, 1990, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Robert and Laurie Cantrell, Kingman, Arizona for a rezoning from existing A-R/2A (Agricultural-Residential/Two Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone to A-R (Agricultural-Residential) zone, located in the Golden Valley area, and WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on February 14, 1990 did generate a recommendation of approval of the request with the following conditions noted: 1. Submittal and recordation of a Parcel Plat be prepared in accordance with article 3.16 of the Mohave County Subdivision Regulations. 2. Establishment of a minimum lot area based on the size of the parcel per the recorded Parcel Plat. 3. Establishment of a minimum lot size of one (1) acre exclusive of easements. 4. Such zone change shall not be effective for at least thirty (30) days after final approval of the change in zoning classification by the Board, being April 4, 1990, as per A.R.S. II-B29E. WHEREAS, this lot is located approximately eight (B) miles west of the junction of Highways 93 and 6B, 2.5 miles south of Highway 6B, 1,000 feet west of Laguna Drive, between Cowlic and Cove Roads. Legal access is provided to this lot via Laguna south from Highway 6B, west on Bolsa Drive. These roads are open and bladed. Lot 9, Block 0 has not been divided since the plat was recorded. The applicant is proposing to divide this lot into an east and west half, each having access to Bolsa Drive. Each lot will be greater than one (1) acre in size. The majority of this lot does not appear to be within a designated floodplain, however, a review of the floodplain maps indicates a wash running northwest to southeast and may be running across it's very southwest corner. This section is located in the Golden Valley Improvement District, and WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on February IB, 1990, and posted February 16, 1990 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and -.. .- ~ ., . p' 3 OF 3 BOOK 1680 PAGE 305 (FEEt 90- 14429) f"'l !:"11 I',"':"",'. ..~,~< J. ":,..:1;::J Resolution No. 90-64 Page 3 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, March 5, 1990 approved this change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission, subject to the conditions outlined herein.
