A RESOLUTION REZONING A PORTION OF LOT 352, BE A PORTION OF
SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, FROM: C-2 (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: C-2H (HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL) ZONE,
LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on January 8, 1990, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Dale
Malquist, Kingman, Arizona for a rezone from existing C-2
(General Commercial) zone to C-2H (Highway Commercial) zone, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on December 13, 1989 did generate a
recommendation of approval of this request with the following
condition noted:
1. The applicant comply with all applicable provlslons of
Sections 25, 26, 27, and 31 of the Mohave County Zoning
Regulations;
2. That the erection of the fence be completed within one
(1) year of the approval of the zoning by the Board of
Supervisors;
3. Such change shall not be effective for at least thirty
(30) days after final approval of the change in
classification by the Board, being February 7, 1990, as
per A.R.S. 11-829E;
and
WHEREAS, the applicant desires a rezone to C-2H (Highway
Commercial in order to have an open storage of boats, RV's, and
mobile homes.
This parcel is currently zoned C-2.
It fronts
Highway 93's west side and has a dirt road on the southern border

of the property.
The western border of this property is
approximately 526 feet west of the point where Kirkland
intersects u.s. Highway 93.
It's northern most boundary is 330
feet from that point.
Most contiguous properties are zoned A-
R/10A (Agricultural-Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size).
Other properties in the area are zoned A-R/36A (Agricultural-
Residential/Thirty-Six Acre Minimum Lot Size).
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on December 22, 1989, and posted on
December 20, 1989 as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and
the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, January 8, 1990 approved this
change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission, as outlined herein.
