A RESOLUTION REZONING OF LOT 1, BERMUDA ACRES, BEING A PORTION OF
SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 17 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, FROM: C-2 (GENERAL
COMMERCIAL) TO C-2H/1A (HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT
SIZE), LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on January 8, 1990, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Ben
Jones, Bullhead City for a rezone from existing C-2 zoning to C-
2H/1A zoning, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on December 13, 1989 did generate a
recommendation of approval of this request with the following
conditions noted:
1. Resolution P&ZC: 84-43 set forth specific conditions
for the use of this property and they are as follows:
a. That a block wall shall be constructed as a buffer
between the proposed commercial use and the adjoining
residential property prior to the issuance of a
zoning/building permit.
b. Access shall be restricted by providing a non-access
easement and limiting access to one (1) common fifty
(50') foot driveway between the two (2) commercial
properties (or twenty-five (25') foot drive at the
intersection of the two (2) commercial lots) on Harbor
Avenue in Bermuda Dunes, Tract 4039.
c. That this zone change be subject to the reserving of
a twenty-five (25') foot deep, dry retention area
within each of these two (2) commercial lots.

2. That the applicant comply with all applicable
provisions of Sections 25, 26, 27, and 31 of the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations;
3.
That the erection of fencing required
storage of material be completed within
the approval of the rezoning by
Supervisors;
to screen open
one (1) year of
the Board 0 f
4. Such change shall not be effective for at least thirty
(30) days after final approval of the change in
classification by the Board, being February 7, 1990, as
per A.R.S. 11-829E; .
and
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on December 22, 1989, and posted on
December 20, 1989 as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and
the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, January 8, 1990 approved this
change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission, as outlined herein.
