PAGE 1 OF 3 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 NC RESOLUTION NO. 90-83 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE ABANDONMENT OF A CERTAIN RECORDED ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY IN TOWNSHIP 17 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, SECTION 23, GILA AND SALT RIVER BASE AND MERIDIAN, IN THE SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS BERMUDA VILLAGE, SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on April 2, 1990, a public hearing was conducted to determine the abandonment request from the applicant, Howard M. Finn, owner of property directly affected by ~v this requested abandonment, and ~\,;;~'~"~,' ~;:~;'~i'! '<,..., WHEREAS, Mr. Jack Rose, Green Valley Realty, will represent the petitioner in the Road Vacation request, and WHEREAS, this abandonment will comprise of approximately three-hundred ninety four and sixty-nine hundredths (394.69') feet by fifty (50') feet of Plantation Dr. that lies between Lots 1 and 2 and Tract B of Bermuda Village Subdivision, and WHEREAS, the applicant shall dedicate a sixty (60') foot roadway along the southern most part of Lot 1 that will connect \~..~~ Barrackman Road to Levee Drive via Plantation Drive, and :~\~"~ .~ .~) ow!' .. . . PAGE 2 OF J BK 1701 PG 102 (FEEt90- 23755) Page 2 1<;','. .~ ~. ,.. ..,.. .l " "I c, ~ Resolution No. 90-83 WHEREAS, this abandonment was initiated by the applicant because Lots 1 & 2 are small and do not comprise sufficient space to adequately provide a usable commercial lot and Tract B is off of the highway thus does not allow for the highway commercial designation of the Mohave County Zoning Ordinance thus greatly restricting the potential use of this property, and WHEREAS, by combining the Tract and Lots into one (1) Lot with frontage along the highway and providing a new access to Levee Drive from Barrackman Road this land becomes fully useful at a major intersection in the South Mohave Valley, and , 1~) jt,ft~ :\~f;i WHEREAS, in evaluating this abandonment request the County Engineering department has recommended that the above referenced right-of-way be abandoned, and WHEREAS, information to this Board indicates that this abandonment will leave no adjoining or affected properties without legal or physical access, and WHEREAS, no utilities are located within the subject right- of-way, and ~:,lr.~ WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave Ii"i ,~lJ;; Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
