RESOLUTION NO. 90-181
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF A REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION
OF TIME FOR THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN FOR
HUALAPAI FOOTHILL ESTATES, TRACT 3003, A SUBDIVISION OF SECTION
21, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED IN THE KINGMAN
AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held June 6, 1990 a public hearing was conducted
to discuss a request for an extension of time for the approved
preliminary plan for Hualapai Foothill Estates, Tract 3003,
located in the Kingman area, and
WHEREAS, is located on the northeast side of Hualapai
Mountain Road and southeast of Kingman adjoining the corporate
city limits, and
WHEREAS,
in
July,
1981
the
Board
of
Supervisors
conditionally approved a preliminary subdivision plan for
Hualapai Foothill Estates, Tract 3003, as recommended by the
Commission as per Resolution P&ZC: 81-125.
The conditionally
approved preliminary plan proposed to subdivide 640 acres into
410 one (1) acre plus residential lots, and

WHEREAS, the Mohave County Subdivision Regulations provide
that the tentative tract approval is valid for two (2) years.
The Board may grant extensions of time in one (1) year increments
for
the
approved
preliminary
plan
application
or
upon
recommendation of the Commission if the subdivider is actively
processing the final plat and there have been no material changes
or conditions within or adjoining the preliminary plan that would
warrant a revision in the design of the approved preliminary plan
or a change in the required site improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors granted extensions of time
for the preliminary subdivision plan in June, 1983; July, 1984;
July, 1985; July, 1986; July, 1987; and July, 1988, and
WHEREAS, the developer is actively pursuing the project and
there are no apparent conditions affecting the tract of
significant change which would warrant a redesign of this
subdivision, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, July 2, 1990 approved this
extension of time to July, 1991 to submit and record the final
plat for this subdivision as recommended by the Commission and
outlined herein.
