PAGE 1 OF 3 BOS RECORDING FEE 0.00 NC RESOLUTION NO. 90-141 A RESOLUTION REZONING OF LOT 15, BLOCK I, GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS #62, FROM: A-R/2A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: A-R/1A (AGRICULTURAJJ-RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHA VE COUN'I'Y, ARI ZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 4, 1990, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Louis Robinson, Kingman, Arizona, for a rezoning from existing A- R/2A (Agricultural-Residential/Two Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone to A-R/1A (Agricultural-Residential/One Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, located in the Golden Valley area, and WHEREAS, this rezone is located approximately eight (8) miles west of the Highway 93/68 intersection. Lot 15, Block I, Golden Sage Ranchos #62 is a parcel located approximately 4.5 miles north of the northeast corner of the Highway 68/Laguna Road intersection. Lot 15 is approximately 1940 feet north of the northeast corner of Laguna Road and McElmo Drive. Lots surrounding this property are predominantly vacant with a few single family residential structures in the general vicinity, and WHEREAS, this area is not located in the Golden Valley Improvement District, and WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 9, 1990 did generate a recommendation of approval of the zone change request with the r.r.;;'~', tW':_V~ r;"c'l following conditions noted: h:"i;\ tl,."'':'f:~ ~"P'l t...,..\.'..'.".:, "'1 J(,~.~. ~' .81:.,~i, .'t'.... ~.',' '\''1...1:-':'' 1. Submittal and recordation of a Parcel Plat prepared in accordance with Article 3.16 of the Mohave County Subdivision Regulations. 2. That the Board of Supervisors accept the dedication of a forty-two (42') foot right-of-way and an eight (8') foot PUE along Laguna Road as it is contiguous to this property through the approval of the resolution authorizing this zone change, and that the dedication statement and dedication( s) be shown on the Parcel Plat. 3. The establishment of m1n1mum lot areas based on the size of the parcels per the recorded Parcel Plat. 4. Each parcel shall have legal access. 5. Each parcel shall meet or exceed one (1) acre exclusive of road easements. 6 . Such zone change shall not be effective for at least thirty (30) days after final approval of the change in zoning classification by the Board, being July 4, 1990, as per A.R.S. 11-829E. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on May 18, 1990, and posted May 15, 1990 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 4, 1990 approved this change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
