ESTABLISH A READY MIX BATCH PLANT IN AN
NE~ SEC'rION 5, TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE
LITTLEFIELD AltEA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
A ZONING USE PERMIT TO
A (GENERAL) ZONE IN THE
15 WEST, LOCA'rED IN THE
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held June 4, 1990 a public hearing was conducted
to determine whether approval should be granted to Duane C.
Bauer, Western Rock Products, St. George, Utah for a Zoning Use
Permit to establish a ready mix batch plan in an A (General)
zone, and
WHEREAS, the subject property is located in the Littlefield
area in the Arizona Strip.
The property is accessible via the
interchange of Old Highway 91 and 1-15, then north to the project
site.
This property is contiguous to Highway 91.
The current
zoning for this property is A (General) which allows for batch
plants and would not be contrary to the spirit and intent of the
Zoning Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing beforet.he Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on May 9,
}')90 did generate a
Resolution No. 90 -130 Page 2
- recommendation of approval of the Zoning Use Permit with the
following conditions:
1. This Zoning Use Permit is subject to revocation upon
sixty (60) days notification by the Board of
Supervisors, if in the opinion of the Commission and
Board the continued use of the property would be
contrary to the public health, safety, and welfare.
2. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of
Sections 25, 26, 27, & 31 of the Mohave County Zoning
Ordinance.
3. The applicant pave the entrance to this facility with
two (2 ") inch asphalt within sixty (60) days of the
approval of this Zoning Use Permit.
4. Any equipment washed on the premises shall be confined
to a specific area determined by the Mohave County
Health Inspector.
5. This use permit be allowed for a one (1) year period
renewable after review and approval by the Commission
=' and Board.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on April 22, 1990 and posted April 25,
1990 as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, June 4, 1990 approved this
Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
