RESOLUTION NO. 90-193
RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF R-V PARK PLANS FOR CANYON
WEST PARK ON LOT 23, PLEASANT VALLEY ACRES, A PORTION OF SECTION
20, TOWNSHIP 25 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, LOCATED IN THE DOLAN
SPRINGS AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the special meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on Monday, July 23, 1990 I a public hearing
was conducted to determine the approval of the R-V park plans for
Canyon West Park on l,ot 23, Pleasant Valley Acres, being a
portion of Section 20~ Township 25 North, Range 19 West, and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is Robert
Enhelder, Meadview, Arizona.
The engineer responsible for the
preparation of the drainage report, design of the park, and the
improvements plans is John H. Proffit,' P.E., Mohave Engineering
Assoc., Inc., Kingman, Arizona, and

WHEREAS, this proposed R-V park is located approximately one
(1) mile northeast of the southeast corner of Highway 93 and
Pierce Ferry Road.
This property fronts Pierce Ferry Road and
approximately 447 feet southwest of the southeast corner of
Pierce Ferry Road and 5th Street.
Access is provided directly
off of Pierce Ferry Road, and

WHEREAS, the lots in Pleasant valley Acres are zoned A
(General)
and are
sparsely developed with single
family
residential lots of predominantly 2.5 acre minimum lot sizes, and
WHEREAS, the plan submitted depicts approximately forty (40)
R-V spaces with a density of approximately 17.75 spaces per acre,
and
WHEREAS, the drainage on this site flows from south to north
into the south road ditch of Pierce Ferry Road.
The R-V park
will be developed so the interior roads will carry the runoff

from the R-V spaces through the site and into the Pierce Ferry

Road ditch, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and zoning Commission, by unanimous
vote at their meeting on July 11, 1990, did recommend conditional
approval of the R-V park plan for Canyon West Park with the
following conditions noted:
1.
Arizona Department of

Health Services approves the

2. .Arizona Department of Health Services approves the
water supply and distribution system for this R-V park.
3. Sanitary facilities shall be provided and constructed
in accordance with State and County Health Department
requirements.
4. The R-V park identification system shall be acceptable
to the Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire Department.
