A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE REZONING OF LOT 12, BLOCK F,
GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS :/1:51, FROM: A-R/2A (AGRICULTURAL
RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: A-
R/1A (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE,
LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on September 4, 1990, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to
Fredrick L. and Guadalupe Earl, California, for a rezoning from
existing A-R/2A (Agricultural Residential/Two Acre Minimum Lot
Size) zone to A-R/IA (Agricultural Residential/One Acre Minimum
Lot Size) zone, located in the Golden Valley area, and
WHEREAS, Golden Sage Ranchos #51 is located approximately
seven (7) miles west of the Highway 68/93 junction and
approximately one-half (.5) mile north of Highway 68. The
subject property is accessed from Highway 68 via Laguna Road,
north to Agua Fria Drive, then east to Davis Road, then south
approximately 1200 feet on the east side of Davis Road. At this
time, Davis Road should be considered semi-bladed, and
~ WHEREAS, review of floodplain map #040058-2l50B indicates
~~ this area to be clear of flooding potential, and

WHEREAS, if this rezone is approved and the lot is split,
the resulting parcels would meet the one (1) acre minimum
requirements of the A-R zone, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on August 8,
1990 did generate a
recommendation of approval of the zone change request with the
following conditions noted:
1. Submittal and recordation of a Parcel Plat prepared in
accordance with Article 3.16 of the Mohave County
Subdivision Regulations.
2.
The establishment of a ml.nl.mum lot size based on the
size of parcels per the recorded Parcel Plat.

Each parcel shall have legal access.
4. Each parcel shall meet or exceed one (1) acre exclusive
of road easements.
5. The Parcel Plat shall show any surface drainage.
6. Such change shall not be effective for at least thirty
(30) days after approval of the change in
classification by the Board, being October 4, 1990, as
per A.R.S. 11-829E.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on August 20, 1990, and posted August 17,
1990 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 1990 approved
this change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
