I'J:)~ RESOLUTION NO. 90-283 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE REZONING OF LOT 2, BLOCK H, GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS UNIT 68 SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM: A-R/2A (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: A-R/1A (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on October 1, 1990, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Bruno & Weisberg, P.C., in the name of the Employees Profit Sharing Plan, Kingman, Arizona for a rezoning from existing A- R/2A (Agricultural Residential/TwO Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone to A-R/1A (Agricultural Residential/One Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, located in the Golden Valley area, and WHEREAS, Unit 68 is located approximately nine (9) miles west of the Highway 68/93 junction and approximately two and one- half (2.5) miles north of Highway 68. The property is accessed off of Highway 68 via Egar Road north to Chinle Drive, east to Eden Road then south approximately 350 feet on the west side of the road. PAGE 2 OF ;) BY. 1200 PG 384 (FEn90- 69910 ) Resolution No. 90-283 Page 2 .,-.;~ WHEREAS, review of floodplain #040058-2125B indicates map this area to be clear of potential flooding, and WHEREAS, surrounding land use consist of one house approximately one-quarter (.25) mile away and the rest being vacant land, and WHEREAS, this property lies within the Golden Valley Improvement District, and WHEREAS, the applicant wishes to split this two plus (2+) ;~~ ~ acre parcel into two (2) one plus (1+) acre parcels, and ~;j WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on September 12, 1990 did generate a recommendation of approval of the zone change request with the following conditions noted: 1. Submittal and recordation of a Parcel Plat prepared in accordance with Article 3.16 of the Mohave County Subdivision Regulations. 2. The establishment of a minimum lot size based on the size of parcels per the recorded Parcel Plat. 3. Each parcel shall have legal access. 4. The rezone shall not become effective for at least thirty (30) days after final approval of the change in classification by the Board of Supervisors, being NOVEMBER 1, 1990, as per A.R.S. 11-829E. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on August 24, 1990, and posted August 29, 1990 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, October 1, 1990 approved this change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
