A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE REZONING OF LOTS 327-399, GOLDEN
HORSESHOE RANCHES UNIT 14, SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 27 NORTH, RANGE
19 WEST, FROM: SD/M (SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT/MANUFACTURING) ZONE,
PROPOSED TO BE: A-R/IA (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL/ONE ACRE MINIMUM
LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE MORAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA,
ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on November 5, 1990, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to
Kevin Leonard, Kingman, Arizona for a rezoning from existing SD/M
(Special Development/Manufacturing) zone to A-R/1A (Agricultural
Residential/One Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, located in the
Mohave County General area, and
WHEREAS, Section 17 is located approximately 36 miles north
of Kingman and approximately 8 miles east of Highway 93.
This
block of parcels can be accessed from Highway 93 via White Hills
Road thence east approximately 8 miles to Silver Eagle Road
thence south approximately 1/4 mile to Pine Tree Drive. The
parcels are bounded by Silver Eagle Road, Pine Tree Drive, Golden
Arrow Road and Rollando Drive, and

WHEREAS, review of floodplain map #040058-1600B indicates
this are to be clear of FEMA designated flood zones.
This area
was zoned to SD/M (Special Development/General Manufacturing) in
1969. Since that time and currently there is, according to land
use maps, only one home within this block of parcels. Access on
White Hill Boulevard is good, but some distance from quality
paved roads, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on October 10, 1990 did generate a
recommendation of approval of the zone change request with the
following conditions noted:
1. That staff receive proof of ownership for lots Account
Servicing Associates of Prescott, Inc. has jurisdiction
over, such proof should be submitted prior to the Board
of Supervisors meeting of November 5, 1990.
2. The rezone shall not become effective for at least
thirty (30) days after final approval of the change in
classification by the Board of Supervisors, being
December 5, 1990, as per ARS 11-829E.
3. If these conditions are not met within one (1) year
this approval shall be void. If at the expiration of
this period the property has not been improved for the
use for which it was conditionally approved, the Board
after notification by registered mail to the owner and
applicant who requested the rezoning shall schedule a
public hearing to grant an extension, determine
compliance with the schedule for development or cause
the property to revert to its former zoning
classification in accordance with Arizona Revised
Statutes Annotated, Title 11, Chapter 6, 11-832.

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on October 19, 1990, and posted October
18, 1990 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, November 5, 1990 approved
this change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
