PAGE 1 OF 2 HOHA\Je: C:OutHY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDHlG fEE 0.01) He RESOLUTION NO. 90-324 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH CONDITIONAL APPROVAL OF A REQUEST TO ABANDON A PORTION OF A ROADWAY EASEMENT, BEING THE NORTH EIGHT (8) FEET OF SHIPP DRIVE CONTIGUOUS TO PARCELS 13-15, LOCATED IN SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held November 5, 1990 a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to John Proffit, Mohave Engineering Associates, Inc., Kingman, Arizona,for an abandonment a portion of a roadway easement, being the north eight (8) feet of Shipp Drive, contiguous to Parcels 13-15, and WHEREAS, Section 12 is located approximately eight (8) miles west of the Highway 68 and 93 junction and is bisected by Highway 68. The subject easement being affected, also known as Shipp Drive, is approximately 1/2 mile south of Highway 68 and can be accessed via, and is located between Teddy Roosevelt and Laguna Roads, and WHEREAS, the applicants are requesting the existing fifty (50) foot easement on the south of parcel 13-15 be reduced to forty two (42) feet. This petition is specifically related to the Shipp Estates III, Tract 3026 subdivision. The eight (8) feet roadway easement being abandoned is proposed to be replaced by an eight (8) foot Public Utility Easement on the tract lots contiguous to Shipp Drive, and .. . WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Con~ission on October lO, 1990 did generate a recommendation of conditional approval of this abandonment with the following conditions: 1. Such change shall not be effective until recordation of the Final Plat. 2. If the resubdivision which initiated this abandonment request is not recorded within one (1) year, the above recommendation shall be void. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Mohave Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on October 19, 1990, and posted October 18, 1990 as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County zoning Regulations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, November 5, 1990 approved this abandonment request as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission, subject to the conditions outlined herein.
