HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-361 ,- 1 _'~',;,J:.Q_ . 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 90-361 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH CONDITIONAL APPROVAL OF A REQUEST TO ABANDON (REVERSION TO ACREAGE) A PARCEL PLAT IN THE E~ S~ S~ SE~ SW~ SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, EXCEPT THE SOUTHERN FORTY -TWO ( 42 ') FEET THEREOF, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MORAVE VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held December 3, 1990 a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Richard and Dorothea Allington of Grove, Oklahoma, for an c~1 ,.;,;~ ~ abandonment (reversion to acreage) of a Parcel Plat in the E~ S~ S~ SE~ SW~ Section 25, Township 19 North, Range 22 West, except the southern forty-two (42 ') feet thereof, approximately 1.5 miles east of Highway 95 on the north side of Joy Lane, located in the South Mohave Valley area, and WHEREAS, the subject property is located approximately three (3) miles south of the Bullhead City corporate limits. Access to the property will be from Highway 95, 1.5 miles east on Joy Lane, and WHEREAS, the applicant is requesting the abandonment of a :J~ ,',;" parcel plat previously dividing this five (5) acre parcel into f''-,':~ l::..D three (3) separate parcels. The abandonment of this parcel plat .). , ,,"- . is being requested to facilitate the processing of a subdivision, PAGE 2 OF ;. 1827 PG 2 39 (FEEt90- 82274) Allington Acres, which will overlay this area. As provided by Mohave County Subdivision Regulation 6.03, the applicant has provided a petition for an easement abandonment, and WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on November 14, 1990 did generate a recommendation of conditional approval of this abandonment with the following condition: 1. This abandonment shall revert to it I S original condition if the above referenced subdivision, Allington Acres, is not processed and recorded within two (2) years time from the approval of this abandonment. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on November 18 and 25, 1990, and posted November 16, 1990 as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, December 3, 1990 approved this abandonment request (reversion to acreage) as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission, subject to the condition outlined herein. , ,~,,,-, , ~,;!l ".'~ ; ~~j :,~.] ", MORAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS a~ M/L//~ Lois J.
