27. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Arizona Department of Environmental
Quality for A.D.E.Q. to provide a physical liaison for Mohave County Improvement Districts'

28. Approve and accept donations in the amount of $750 from the National SAFE KIDS Campaign,
to be used for the purchase of bicycles, safety gear, brochures and safety talks; and $5,000, from
Kingman Regional Medical Center, for the purchase of health supplies for Kingman area
schools, as requested by the Mohave County Health and Social Services Department.
29. Approval of grant application and budget for SFY 2001 LTAFII funding in the amount of
$150,736.65 for the Senior Transit Program under the Mohave County Senior Programs Division
of the Mohave County Health and Social Services Department.
30. Approval of amended budget for NICP, fund 230-04-5115, to reflect remaining carry-over funds
from FY 99-00 in the amount of $44,380.87, as requested by the Mohave County Health and
Social Services Department.
31. Approval of amended budget for Senior Programs, fund 815-05-6300, to reflect remaining funds
from FY 99-00 for the Kingman and Bullhead City Senior Center construction/renovation

33. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-342 - Approving the amended
Intergovernmental Agreement between the Mohave County Health and Social Services
Department, Senior Programs Division, and the City of Lake Havasu, for the construction of a
senior center, as approved by the Board of Supervisors on July 24, 2000.
34. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement, Contract No. 761107, Amendment No. 3,
between Mohave County Health and Social Services Department, Nursing Services Division,
and the Arizona Department of Health Services, for Family Planning Services, amending the
budget to reflect the grant award of $87,590.
35. Approval of waivers for eligible applicants for property tax exemption for the 2000 tax year, as
requested by Beverly Payne, Mohave County Assessor.
36. Approval of Overflow Trial Court Contract with attorney Michael J. Hruby of Flagstaff, from
September 7, 2000 to March 7, 2001, as requested by Eric Devany, Acting Mohave County
Public Defender.
37. Approval of Overflow indigent defense cases with attorney Jeanne K. Winkler, from September
7, 2000 to March 7, 2001, as requested by Eric Devany, Acting Mohave County Public
Defender.
38. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SITTING AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS - MOHAVE
COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT: Approval of "Unattended Children Policy" as
recommended by library staff and the Citizens Library Advisory Committee.
39. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SITTING AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS - MOHAVE
COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT: Acceptance of donation of $1,108.48 from Friends of the
Kingman Library to reimburse the purchase of two white board conference cabinets.
40. Acceptance of annual report as provided by the Treasurer for period covering July 1, 1999,
through June 30, 2000.
'41. Compromise of taxes in Improvement District #126 to 1999 value, as recommended by William
J. Ekstrom, Mohave County Attorney.
42. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-383 - Approving the Intergovernmental
Agreements between Mohave County and Arizona Department of Commerce and execution of
Commerce Contracts #016-01, 017-01, and 018-01, for the receipt of FY 2000 Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds of $903,079.
43. Approve amended budgets for all adult and juvenile funding from the State, as requested by the
Mohave County Probation Department.
44. Approval for the Mohave County Probation Department to file application for a Juvenile
Accountability Incentive Block Grant fund grant for FY 2001/02 in the amount of $38,747.
45. Approval of Federal Grant Number 00-FC-0066 between the Bureau of Reclamation and the
Mohave County Parks Department, and authorize the County Parks Administrator to sign all
necessary documents (Davis Camp - Handicapped Access).
46. Approval of Election Board workers for the September 12, 2000, Primary Election and the
November 7, 2000, General Election, in compliance with ARS 16-531, as requested by Brad
Nelson, Mohave County Elections Director.

48. Approval of a CASA Coordinator I position for FY 2000/01, funded by the State Supreme Court,

49. Approve transfer of up to $10,000 from the County Contingency fund to be used as matching
funds to the State General Funds for the cleanup of storm related damage in the Golden Shores
area.
50. Approval of County Manager's Ordinance report from July 31, 2000 through August 15, 2000.
51. Approve payment of FY2000/01 CSA dues.
52. Authorize County lobbyist Mike Williams to proceed with seeking to have a legislative study
