paying special attention to indicate the item number. The form should then be given to the Clerk of the
Board or Deputy Clerk prior to the meeting. Note further that the time limit rule, noted on the form, will
be enforced.

THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MAY, BY MOTION, RECESS INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION
TO RECEIVE LEGAL ADVICE FROM THE BOARD'S ATTORNEY(S) ON ANY ITEM
CONTAINED IN THIS AGENDA PURSUANT TO A.R.S. 38-431.03 (A) (3).

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONSENT AGENDA:
The following items listed under CONSENT AGENDA will be considered as a group and acted upon by
one motion with no separate discussion of said items, unless a Board Member so requests. In that event,
the item will be removed from the CONSENT AGENDA for separate discussion and action.
5. Acknowledge receipt and refer to the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Department for
review and recommendation, as petition for an ABANDONMENT of a 60-foot Roadway and
Utility Easement along the northern portion of Parcel 23-A, LAZY Y-U RANCH, Phase 1, as
shown on Parcel Plats Book 7, Page 81, in Section 11, T20N, R16W, in the Mohave County
General Area (southeast of Lazy Y-U Drive and north of Saddle Tree Drive), Mohave County,
Arizona.
6. Accept the recommendation, of the Public Land Use Committee, requesting the Arizona Game
and Fish Department do a status review of the Hualapai Mexican vole.
7. Approval of request for employment of James Hood husband of Carol Light-Hood, employees in
the Road Department in accordance with Merit Rule 21 OB.
8. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SITTING AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS: GOLDEN
VALLEY COUNTY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1: Accept the conveyance of
property, represented by the Superintendent of Streets Deeds, for the North and South portion of
Block G, Lot 14, of the Golden Sage Ranchos Unit 68, which is that part of Section 27, T22N,
R19W, G&SRM of Mohave County, Arizona.
9. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-390 - DENIAL of the request for a
portion of Pima Road (Geronimo Drive beginning at Pima Road and ending at Kaibab Road with
a general course of East and West) in Golden Valley be accepted into the Tertiary Road
Maintenance System.
10. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-389 - DENIAL of the request for a
portion of Pima Road (beginning at Dawson Drive and ending at Navajo Road with a general
course of North and South) in Golden Valley be accepted into the Tertiary Road Maintenance
System.
11. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-391 - Authorizing the posting of Stop
Signs at the intersection of Burro Drive and Ajo Road in T21N, R18W, Section 3, Golden
Valley, Mohave County, Arizona.
12. Award of Bid - IFB No. 00-B-17- Raid Storage System, for the Mohave County Recorder's
Office, PULLED, TO BE CARRIED OVER TO OCTOBER 2, 2000, MEETING.
13. Multiple award of Bid of IFB No. 00-B-16 for Asphaltic Emulsions to Copperstate Emulsions,
Las Vegas, Nevada, for furnishing CRS 2 to Kingman and Mohave Valley in the amount of
$391,000, and to Chevron, Phoenix, Arizona, for furnishing MC 250 to Kingman and Mohave
Valley in the amount of $157,800, for the Mohave County Road Department.
14. Approval of monthly report for Procurement Activity between $10,000 and $25,000.
15. Approval of amended budget (fund number 232-04-5155) for immunizations to reflect carry over
funds in the amount of $12,886, as requested by the Mohave County Health and Social Services
Department, Nursing Division.
16. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-392 - Approving an Intergovernmental
Agreement with the City of Kingman for providing health services for fiscal year 2001.
17. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-394- Approving an Intergovernmental
Agreement with the City of Bullhead City for providing health services for fiscal year 2001.
18. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement and budget, Contract No. 861035, Amendment
No. 4, WIC Tobacco Intervention Services, as requested by Mohave County Health and Social
Services Department.
19. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement and budget, Contract No. 761094, Amendment
No. 4, for WIC Services Program, as requested by Mohave County Health and Social Services
Department.
20. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement and budget, Contract No. 761118, Amendment
No. 4, for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, as requested by the Mohave County
Health and Social Services Department.
21. Approve the donation from Lake Havasu Regional Medical Center in the amount of $1,500, to
be utilized for the purchase and distribution of lice kits to Mohave County area schools as
requested by the Mohave County Health and Social Services Department.
22. Approval of tax exemptions for the 2000 tax year, as requested by Beverly Payne, Mohave
County Assessor.
*23. Executive Session only for advice of and direction to counsel regarding Superior Court Case
Mohave County v. United National Insurance Company, et al. CV 99-06465, as requested by
William J. Ekstrom, Mohave County Attorney.
24. Authorize the payment of August and September invoices, billing statements, and claims for
Superior Court mandated services for Juror Compensation, Legal Services, and Court
Costs/Investigations.
25. Approval of compromise of taxes on parcels within Mohave County Improvement District 126:
317-06-094, 317-06-161,317-06-194, 317-06-215,317-06-216, 317-06-319 from $16,495.91 due
to $5,921 which is the 1999 value, as requested by Dora Goodmiller, Mohave County Treasurer.

26. Approval of Certificates of Clearance in the amount of $13,721.62, and $4,054.91 in Penalties
for a total of $17,776.53.
27. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SITTING AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS - MOHAVE
COUNTY LIBRARY DISTRICT: Approve recommended change in the Beaver-
Dam/Littlefield shared-use library hours.
28. Approve request from the Lake Havasu Unified School District No. 1, for the Mohave County
Treasurer, to invest and reinvest all monies as authorized by law for the fiscal year beginning on
the 1st day of July, 2000 and ending on the 30th day of June, 2001.
29. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-387 - Approval of an Intergovernmental
Agreement between Mohave County and Bullhead City, for jail costs, as requested by Tom
Sheahan, Mohave County Sheriff.
30. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-388 - Approval of an Intergovernmental
Agreement between Mohave County and the City of Kingman, for jail costs, as requested by
Tom Sheahan, Mohave County Sheriff.
31. Approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement between Mohave County and Maricopa County
Sheriff's Office and the budget for the HIDTA Program in the amount of $29,000, as requested
by Tom Sheahan, Mohave County Sheriff.
32. Acknowledge receipt of the request and refer to the Mohave County Planning and Zoning
Department to add an amendment to the existing zoning ordinance to allow for the legal
operation of outside food vendors as long as all other requirements, such as toilet facilities, food
storage, etc. are met, as requested by Carol Anderson, Supervisor District 1.
33. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-385 - Supporting the designation of the
Economic Development District for the Counties of Mohave, Yuma and La Paz.
34. Approval of grant agreement between the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation
Administration and Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport, fiscal year 2000 Airport
Improvement Program, Project No. 3-04-006, not to exceed $650,000.
35. Approval of Special Event Liquor License for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6306, 12852
Oatman Highway, Golden Shores, Mohave County, Arizona, on September 23, 2000.
36. Approval of Original Liquor License for Maged Hannawi, DBA: Mojave Mobil Mart, 10420
Harbor Ave, Mohave Valley, Arizona, Series No. 10.
37. Approval of Special Event Liquor Licenses for Mohave County, SARA Park Raceway, Lake
Havasu City, Arizona, on October 21, 28, November 5, 12, 2000.
38. Approval of Special Event Liquor License for the Knights of Columbus, 2255 Butler, Kingman,
Arizona, on September 10, 2000.
39. Adoption of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 2000-393 - Canvass of Mohave County
Primary Election held September 12, 2000, as requested by Brad Nelson, Mohave County
Elections Director.
