HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-030 :) 6<0-jJ . lNDEXEi:I l;l>.::::-'.,J ,~lt\l~_.~ 91- 5566 BK 1849 PG 63<' J FICIAL RECORDS OF MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ. *JOAN McCALL, MOHAVE COUNTY RECORDER' 01i31/91 3=30 P.n. rAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Ne RESOLUTION NO. 91-30 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF A REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY FOR FRANCONIA TECHNOLOGIES, BEING A PORTION OF SECTION 8, 'rOWNSHIP 16 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, LOCATED IN THE FRANCONIA AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the special meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held January 21, 1991 a public hearing was conducted to consider approval of a request for an extension of time for the development of property for Franconia Technologies, as stated in Board Resolution No. 90-15 and amended by Board Resolution No. 90-289, and WHEREAS, this area is a typical desert landscape. This parcel is best accessed by Interstate 40 and/or Route 66 at the Franconia Station Interchange at Mile Post 13.5. It can be located in Section 8, Township 16 North, Range 19 West, and WHEREAS, the Board may grant extensions of time in one (1) year increments upon request by the applicant or his assign. Failure to do so will revert the zoning of this property back to its' prior classification, namely, A-R/36A (Agricultural- Residential/Thirty Six Acre Minimum). Any request for extension shall be granted if the Board concludes that due diligence is being exercised to develop the property in accordance with the conditions enumerated, and . ~'.,.. --,.. - ...... . Page 2 WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted evidence that significant progress has been made toward the development of the property and that he will continue to pursue the complex permitting process to complete the development of the project, and WHEREAS, the Planning & zoning Commission at their meeting of January 9, 1991 recommended by a nine (9) to one (1) vote approval of an extension of time to February 21, 1992 for Resolution No. 90-15, amended by Resolution No. 90-289, and that all conditions of said resolutions remain in effect, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their special meeting on Monday, January 21, 1991 approved this extension of time to February 21, 1992 as recommended by the Commission and outlined herein, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors condition this extension approval that no asbestos shall be accepted, stored, or processed in any part of the facility.
