eGE 2 OF 3I>!1Qe 2

WHEREAS, in 1971, the Board of Supervisors approved the
final subdivision plan for Arizona West, Tract 1112. This tract
was recorded in June, 1971. The final approval was granted based
on the understanding that the declared improvements, lot staking
& monuments, street construction and water distribution system be
completed within one (1) year from the date of recordation, and
WHEREAS, in 1985, Mr. B. Marc Neal requested a reactivation
of the subdivision for the raw land sales.
In December, 1985,
the Board of Supervisors approved that request, and
WHEREAS, in February,
1988, the Board of Supervisors
approved a one (1) year extension of time to December 16, 1988.
The most recent action concerning Tract 1112 was in February,
1989. The Board of Supervisors, via Board Resolution No. 89-18,
approved the second one (1) year extension to December 16, 1989.
Thus, the Planning Commission is of the opinion that a
retroactive third one (1) year time extension and a fourth one
( 1) year time extension will need to be granted before the
subdivision may proceed with the development of improvements, and
WHEREAS, the developer of Arizona West appears to be
actively pursuing this project and is prepared to proceed with
the completion of the improvement plans. The Planning and zoning
Commission recommends APPROVAL of a third (3rd) retroactive
request for a one (1) year extension of time, and a forth (4th)
request for a one (1) year extension of time for the approved
final subdivision plan for ARIZONA WEST, Tract 1112, and
