PAGE 1 OF 3 gOS RECORDING FEE 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 91-52 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A CHANGE IN LAND USE IN AN A-D (AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT) ZONE, LOCATED ON PARCEL IX-E-A, KINGMAN AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK, SECTIONS 23 & 26, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on February 4, 1991, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to the Airport Authority, represented by Jim Wilkenson, Kingman, Arizona for a change in land use in an A-D (Airport Development) zone, located on Parcel IX-E-A, Kingman Airport Industrial Park, Sections 23 & 26, Township 22 North, Range 16 West, having frontage on Shipping Lane north of Finance Way, located in the Kingman area, and ~ WHEREAS, Section 23 & 26 are located approximately 4 1/2 miles north of the I-40 and Andy Devine Avenue junction and include a portion of the Kingman City Airport. The subject property is bisected by the boundary line separating Sections 23 and 26. This parcel can be accessed from Highway 66 via Industrial Parkway, east to Industrial Boulevard, thence north to Mohave Airport Drive, thence east to Shipping Lane, thence north approximately 1850 feet on the east side of the street, and IlL ......_ "'" Resolution No. 9.2 . Page 2 PAGE 2 OF 3 BK 1851 PG 281 (FEEJ91- 6328) WHEREAS, current requirements within Section 13.1 of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations require that new land uses in Airport Development zones must receive approval from the Commission and Board of Supervisors. This parcel is slated to have a machine shop for Peerless Machine Products to machine internal components for a sister company that manufactures a hydraulic pump. The land is currently vacant and surrounding uses consist of mostly vacant land with commercial/manufacturing uses being filled in. The Planning Commission received public testimony from the Airport Authority recommending approval and sees no difficulty in approving this change of use, and WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on January 9, 1991 did generate a recommendation of approval of this change in land use, and WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on January 18, 1991, and posted January 17, 1991 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, February 4, 1991 approved this change in land use as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein. ...
