RESOLUTION NO. 91-47
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE REZONING OF THE NE~ AND PART OF
THE NW~ SE~ SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, TO BE
KNOWN AND SUBDIVIDED AS CRYSTAL SPRINGS III, TRACT 3036, FROM; A-
R/10A (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE,
PROPOSED TO BE: R-O (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL/MOBILE HOMES
PROHIBITED) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on February 4, 1991, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be 'granted to KNS,
Incorporated, an Arizona Corporation, Los Angeles, California for
a rezoning from existing A-R/10A (Agricultural Residential/Ten
Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, to R-O (Single Family Residential
Mobile Homes Prohibited) zone, occupying the southwest corner of
Laguna Road and Agua Fria Drive, located in the Golden Valley
area, and
WHEREAS, this proposed subdivision is located approximately
eight (8) miles west of the junction of Highways 93 & 68,
approximately one (1) mile north of Highway 68, and is between
Laguna and Milky Way Roads. Access is provided to this proposed
subdivision from Highway 68 via Milky Way Road, and

WHEREAS, Phase III, is north of and adjacent to the
previously developed tracts Phase I & II. This site is bordered
by Laguna Road on the east, Burro Drive on the south, Milky Way
Road and Agua Fria on the north. The submitted preliminary plan
proposes to subdivide 161 acres into 423 residential lots. The
typical and minimum lot size is 11,400 square feet and a maximum
lot size of 28,000 square feet with an overall density of 2.62
lots per acre, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission on January 9, 1991 did generate a
recommendation of approval of this zone change request contingent
upon the following:

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, on January 18, 1991, and posted January
18, 1991 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, February 4, 1991 approved
