RESOLUTION NO. 91-91
A RESOLUTION NAMING TWO (2) ACCESS ROADS LOCATED IN THE NE~ NE~
SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST AND SE~ SE~ SECTION
36, TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, LOCATED IN THE ARIZONA
STRIP AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held Monday, April 1, 1991, a public hearing was
conducted naming a road located in the NE~ NE~ Section 1,
Township 41 North, Range 13 West and SE~ SE~ Section 36, Township
42 North, Range 13 West, and
WHEREAS, this item went to the Commission through the
requirements of Ordinance Section 32: House Numbering and Road
Naming Regulations which was approved by the Board of Supervisors
on July 2, 1990 via Resolution No. 90-159, and
WHEREAS, the road for which a name is requested is an access
road off of the Black Rock Interchange on the I-IS Freeway north
of the Littlefield area. This road provides access from I-IS to

a conditionally approved commercial development. The development
was approved by the Board of Supervisors per Resolution 90-161 on
June 2, 1990.
The road name proposed is McGarvie Road.
In
addition a minor access road in the development is proposed to be
named Breeze Way. A portion of McGarvie Road traverses BLM land

and has subsequently been reviewed and approved by BLM. The
Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the names submitted and
they meet the criteria set forth in Section 32 of the
regulations, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and zoning Commission at their meeting
on March 13, 1991 did recommend
APPROVAL of these road names
contingent upon the following conditions:
1. Compliance with specifications as set forth in Section
32 of the regulations or its successor.
2. The name of "McGarvie Road" and "Breeze Way" shall be
approved upon recordation of road right-of-way
dedication. This recordation does not assume
maintenance of same without separate approval by the
Board of Supervisors.
WHEREAS, the notice for this public hearing was published in
the Mohave Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in
Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona
on March 17, 1991 and posted
March 19, 1991 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the
Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, April 1, 1990 approved these
street names as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
