A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF A REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION
OF TIME FOR PROCESSING OF THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION
PLAT FOR HUALAPAI FOOTHILL ESTATES, TRACT 3003, A SUBDIVISION OF
SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED IN THE
KINGMAN AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held July 1, 1991 a public hearing was conducted
to consider approval of a request for an extension of time for
processing of the approved preliminary subdivision plan for
Hualapai Foothill Estates, Tract 3003, and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plan for this tract was approved by
the Mohave County Board of Supervisors accepting Planning &
Zoning Commission Resolution 81-125 on July 27, 1981.
The 640
acre subdivision was proposed to be divided into 410 one (1+)
acre single family residential lots, and
WHEREAS, all lots are provided with water supplied by the
City of Kingman through a distribution system constructed by the
developers.
The original tract was approved for dirt/gravel
streets but subsequent Boards have mandated paved streets for all
subdivisions in the Urban Overlay (Building Code area) zone, and
WHEREAS, Units 3003-A and 3003-B have been recorded as final
maps and have been annexed into the City of Kingman. Unit 3003-C
was conditionally approved by the Board of Supervisors at their
June 17, 1991 meeting.

3003-D is being readied for submittal as a final plat, and
WHEREAS, the two (2) year approval for the original approved
preliminary plan would have
expired on July
27,
1983.
Subsequently, extensions of time have been granted on successive
years at the request of the developer, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission at their regular
meeting on June 12, 199'1 recommended that an additional extension
of time be granted to cover the time for submittal of the final
plat to July 27, 1992 with the following conditions noted:
1. All conditions of Resolution P&ZC: 81-125 remain in
effect.
2. All roads must be surfaced in compliance with Mohave
County Public Works standards, as required for Tract
3003-C.
3. A statement of intended time schedule, as concurred by
Commission members present, for completion of the
remainder of the approved preliminary plan be submitted
to the Mohave County Planning Department by September
1, 1991.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, July 1, 1991 approved this
extension of time to July 27, 1992 as recommended by the
Commission and outlined herein.
