RESOLUTION NO. 91-184
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF A REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION
OF TIME FOR PROCESSING OF THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION
PLAT FOR AZTEC RANCHOS, TRACT 4078, IN THE N~ NW~ SE~ SECTION 23,
TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MORAVE
VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held July 1, 1991 a public hearing was conducted
to consider approval of a request for an extension of time for
processing of the approved preliminary subdivision plan for Aztec
Ranchos, Tract 4078, and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is Counsel
Corporation, John K. Hoover, President, Orange, California. The
engineer of record is Stovall Engineering, Mohave Valley,
Arizona, and
WHEREAS, Aztec Ranchos lies one-half (.5) mile west of State
Highway 95 at the southeast intersection of Aztec Road and Calle
Del Media. The design of this tract predated the design for El
Rodeo Drain. This drain now forms the south boundary of this
tract, and
WHEREAS, the tract was approved by the Board of Supervisors
on April 3, 1989 with approval of P&ZC Resolution 89-37. By

definition in the ordinance, processing would have "died" on
April 3, 1991. There has been no indication of activity towards
developing this tract and any extension of time would have to
take into effect design changes necessitated by the formulizing
of the boundaries of El Rodeo Drain, and
WHEREAS, the Subdivision Ordinance provides for the Planning
and Zoning Commission and Board of Supervisors the right to grant
an extension of time for one (1) year, with additional extensions
where justified, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting
of June 12, 1991 recommended that an extension of time be granted
retroactive from April 3, 1991 to April 3, 1992 with the
condition that a corrected map be submitted for file reference
showing El Rodeo Drain boundaries and any rights-of-way or
easements not previously shown that affect this tract. The
corrected map shall be submitted for the Planning Director's
review.
When the Planning Director concurs that the corrected
map fulfills the above conditions, then he will acknowledge that
it is the form of the map approved for time extension.
Failure
to submit said corrected plat by September 1, 1991 or any changes
in lot design submitted with the corrected plat shall invalidate
this extension of time and terminate all proceeding of this plat.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, July 1, 1991 approved these
extensions of time to April 3, 1992 as recommended by the
Commission and outlined herein.
