PAGE 1 OF 3 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 91-152 A RESOLUTION NAMING THREE (3) ROADWAYS IN A PORTION OF THE E~ NE~ SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 16 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, LOCATED IN THE WIKIEUP AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held Monday, June 3, 1991, a public hearing was conducted naming three (3) roadways in a portion of the E~ NE~ Section 27, Township 16 North, Range 13 West, located south of Chicken Springs Road and east of Highway 93 in the Wikieup area, and WHEREAS, Section 27 is located approximately 31 miles south of the Highway 93 and 1-40 junction east of Kingman. The roads under consideration lie east of Highway 93 as the highway bisects this section. The applicant initiated a rezone for a golf course last year and desires to name the roads leading to his property, and WHEREAS, the first road runs east and west and intersects Highway 93 approximately .25 miles south of Chicken Springs Road and the proposed name is Country Club Lane. The second road runs south from the east end of the first road and terminates on Highway 93 in Section 34 to the south and the proposed name is ~.."..~ . . Resolution No. 91-152 Page 2 Golf Course Way. The third road extends in a southeasterly direction from the second road at the half section line and the proposed name is Cholla Canyon Road. The Rural Addressing Coordinator has evaluated and approved the road names and the Commission recommended approval of this request, and WHEREAS, this request has no area plan which specifically addresses land use designations, and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting on May 8 r 1991 did recommend APPROVAL of these road names contingent upon the following conditions: 1. Compliance with specifications as set forth in Section 32 of the Mohave County regulations or its successor. 2. The request for "Country Club Lane" be modified to "Country Club Drive" as the characteristics of this road do hot match the requirements for a "lane". 3. The request for "Golf Course Way" be modified to "Golf Course Avenue" as the characteristics of this road do not match the requirements for a "way". 4. The request for "Cholla Canyon Road" be modified to indicate this road name ends at the intersection with the existing north-south roadway known as "Back Road" (County Roadway Route #159), such intersection being located in the NE~ SW~ Section 26, Township 16 North, Range 13 West. 5. The approval of this request does not indicate assumption by the County for road maintenance without separate approval by the Board of Supervisors. Resolution No. 91-152 Page 3 WHEREAS, the notice for this public hearing was published in the Mohave Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on May 19, 1991 and posted May 17, 1991 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 3, 1991 approved these street names as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and zoning Commission and outlined herein.
