PAGE 1 OF 4- <_2:.><iy MOHAVE cOutHY BOARD OF SUPERIJISORS ,.:::~~ ,.', RECORDING FEE 0.00 NC RESOLUTION NO. 91-260 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF A REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR PROCESSING OF THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR BEAVER DAM RESORT, TRACT 3015, SECTIONS 4 AND 5, TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE 15 WEST, LOCATED IN THE LITTLEFIELD BEAVER DAM AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held Monday, October 7, 1991, a public hearing was conducted to consider approval of a request for an extension of time for processing of the approved preliminary subdivision plan for Beaver Dam Resort, Tract 3015, and WHEREAS, the preliminary plan for this tract was approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors accepting Planning and Zoning Commission Resolution 87-100 on July 6, 1987. The thirty two (32) acre Special Development subdivision was proposed to be divided into two hundred sixty (260) Recreational Vehicle lots, thirty three (33) twin home lots, and eleven (11) acres of common area. The golf course is to be owned/maintained by the Owner/Subdivider, and WHEREAS, all lots are provided with water supplied by the developer's certified water company, through a distribution system constructed by the developers. Resolution 91-260 PAGE 2 OF 4 BK 1957 PG 352 (FEE:::91-55277> Page 2 approved for paved streets to be constructed by the developer and maintained by a property owners association, and WHEREAS, a final plat proposed for Unit 3015-A has been recorded as a final map, approved by the Board of Supervisors, and recorded October 23, 1987. Unit 3015-A has forty f~ve (45) lots, two (2) landscaped parcels, two (2) open space parcels and private streets, and WHEREAS, Unit 3015-B was presented to the Board of Supervisors at their meeting of October 3, 1988, and the Board of Supervisors granted conditional approval. The condition being receipt of acceptable Assurances within thirty (30) days, and WHEREAS, a letter from the Planning Director listed other deficiencies necessary as conditions of recording, and WHEREAS, neither acceptable Assurances nor other data was submitted for presentation to the Board of Supervisors within the thirty (30) days, and WHEREAS, the required information has not been submitted as of this date, and . <<1 . ~ . . Resolution 91-260 PAGE 3 OF 4 BK 1957 PG 353 (FEE~91-S5277) Page 3 WHEREAS, the approved preliminary plan for Beaver Dam Resort, Tract 3015 is still a viable approved Tract; however, time has expired for action of this plat effective July 6, 1989, and WHEREAS, extensions of time may be granted in one year increments for continuation of a preliminary plan, and WHEREAS, the applicant requested an extension of time, via a letter dated August 22, 1991, for the preliminary plan; in keeping with the Mohave County Subdivision Regulations, a first request for renewal would be to extend the time to July 6, 1990, and the second request to July 6, 1991, and a third time to July 6, 1992, and WHEREAS, extenuating circumstances as explained by the developer justify his request for an extension of time for the original approved preliminary plan, and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission at their regular meeting on September 12, 1991, recommended that the additional extensions of time be granted to cover the time for submittal of the final plat to July 6, 1992, with the following conditions noted: 1. The code of today requires the applicant to pay the accumulative fee of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) for the three extensions of time. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, October 7, 1991 approved this extension of time to July 6, 1992, as recommended by th~ Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
