Resolution No. 91-224
WHEREAS, this Petition of Exception was submitted by the
applicant, after approval of the Final Plat, requesting that the
Board of Supervisors grant an exception from the Subdivision
Regulations as outlined in Article 1.13 for the following
reasons:
1. The granting of this petition will not be detrimental
to the public welfare or injurious to other adjacent
properties because:
A.
The finished street section will very nearly
match, in width, the standard section required by
Mohave County so that there will be no visual
effect. The proposed streets will serve no other
than the residents and guests of the proposed
subdivision. Further, utility easements 8 feet in
width are proposed on either side of the street
right-of-way so that residents will be provided
with the same services as though the streets meet
the requirements.
[
B. The inverted crown street section is required to
carry the storm runoff within the limits of paving
of the street right-of-way. The street, as stated
in "A" above is of sufficient width to accomplish
this.
2. This request will not nullify the intent or purpose of
the Master Plan of the County or other Regulations
because the proposed subdivision will not effect
anything outside the subject project.
WHEREAS, the Board felt that the granting of said Petition
of Exception would not be detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to other adjacent properties, nor would the intent or
purpose of the Master Plan of Mohave County or other Regulations
( ,-:~
