the South Mohave Valley Area Plan based on the following:
1. The character of .the area west of Calvary Road is
residential in nature.
2. There exists a large amount of commercially zoned and
designated acreage that is vacant in the South Mohave
Valley area.
3. Of the 30 persons in attendance at the 10/2/91 public
input meeting for the area plan amendment, ALL were in
opposition to further commercial expansion in this
section.
4. The property owners at the meeting indicated they wish
to retain their A-R designation and the existing low
density residential character.
5. Disposition of water service in the area needs to be
addressed before allowing further development.
6. The current proposal for development of the parcel
which initiated this request would need a C-2H zone.
The location of the request is not compatible with the
requirements for a C-2H zoning classification.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona on October 20, 1991 and in the Mohave
