A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE ABANDONMENT OF THE EXISTING FIFTY
(50') FOOT ROADWAY EASEMENTS BEING THE EAST AND WEST FIFTY (50')
FEET OF LOT 256 EXCEPT THE EXISTING FIFTY (50') FOOT ROADWAY
EASEMENTS BEING THE EAST AND WEST FIFTY (50') FEET OF THE SOUTH
1, 319.::':: FEET OF PARCEL 256 PER ROADWAY EASEMENT PLAT, RECEPTION
NO. 76-14580 AND THE NORTH ONE HUNDRED (100') FEET OF SAID LOT
256, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on March 9, 1992, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to
Donna Stone of Kingman, Arizona, for the abandonment of the
existing fifty (50') foot roadway easements being the east and
west fifty (50') feet of Lot 256 except the existing fifty (50')
foot roadway easements being the east and west fifty (50') feet
of the south 1319+ feet of Parcel 256 per Roadway Easement plat,
Reception No. 76-14580 and the north one hundred (100') feet of
said Lot 256, located in Section 11, Township 21 North, Range 19
West, located in the Golden Valley area, and
WHEREAS, The subject property is contiguous to and south of
Arizona Highway 68 and approximately nine (9) miles west of
Highway 68 and 93 junction. The subject property is accessed via
Estrella Road south approximately .5 miles to Brook Drive thence
east approximately .5 miles to the corner of Brook Drive and
Cibola Road, and

The applicant is requesting the abandonment in order to better
utilize the property, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on February 12,
1992, the
Commission recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested
abandonment with the applicant understanding and accepting the
following conditions:

boundary of this property, a thirty (30') foot right-
of-way on the western boundary and a thirty-five (35')
foot right-of-way along the eastern boundary of this
property. In addition two twenty (20') foot radius
curves at the northwestern and northeastern corners of
this parcel. Also the granting of an eight (8') foot
public utility easement along the west and east
boundaries of this property.
3. Citizens Utility was contacted and they have no
objection to the aforementioned action provided their
easement is protected.

At the request of Ro~r Esquerra, cartographer, Commission
recommends Final Plat and Parcel Plat boundaries be a triple wide
line as the 1/8" blue line border obscures dimensions, and
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman,
Mohave County, Arizona, on February 23, 1992, and posted February
21, 1992 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, March 9, 1992 APPROVED this
abandonment/dedication/granting as recommended by the Mohave
County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
