PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 9.00 HP RESOLUTION NO. 92-57 WHEREAS, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors at their meeting on February 18, 1992, accepted a letter of petition requesting that certain roads in Lazy Y -U Ranch be accepted into the Mohave County road System for maintenance, and: WHEREAS, a public meeting was held on February 18, 1992, in the Supervisors' Chambers at which time the request to accept was discussed and considered by the Board, and; Wf-IEREAS, no one appeared to object and no written statement of objection opposing the granting of the request of said petition were received, and; WHEREAS, an investigation has been made by the County Engineer and County Attorney who has reported to the Board that the design and construction of the roads comply with Article 4.11 of the Subdivision and Road Maintenance Regulations of Mohave County, Arizona, for unpaved roadways wherein it was established tha t: A. The public easements for roadway and public utility purposes were properly established when Lazy Y -U Ranch was recorded on or about January 23, 1992, and with the Arizona State Land Department Right of Way #16-94407, recorded July 30, 1991. B. The roads have been laid out, opened and constructed without cost to the County and are within the confines of the easement and in accordance with the specifications outlined in Article 4.3-2. C. The streets are connected to public roadways by at least one road or street meeting the requirements for permanent access as defined by statute. 'WHEREAS. after a review nf the '-equest. reports and recommendations regarding this matter, the Boarc1 nf :'''l",'n-i,,,,'s 118,8 determined that it is in the public interest to accept these roads in In the r:r)unty Road System for maintenance. .. . . ~ Resolution No. 92-57 - Page 2 PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2010 PG 36 (FEE~92- 8763) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors as of this date does accept into the Mohave County Road System, for the purpose of maintenance, the listed, described, established, and defined roads within the recorded Record of Survey, Lazy Y -U Ranch and Arizona State Land Department Right-of-Way #16-94407. Lazy Y -U Drive From its intersection on Hualapai Mountain Road traversing a route southwesterly to its intersection in Parcel 20 with Lazy Y -U Drive. Lazy Y -U Drive - From its in tersection in Parcel 20 circui tous rou te north and westerly boundary of Phase 1. transversing a to the west Lazy Y - U Drive - From its intersection at Parcel 20 transversing a circuitous route south and westerly to the west boundary of Phase 1. Pack Saddle Drive-From Lazy Y -U Drive traversing a easterly route to Saddle Tree Drive. FUR'I'HER, BE IT RESOLVED that these roads will be maintained only to the degree of improvement (SS No. 101.10C unpaved roadways) at which they are now accepted by the County and that Public Funds may be expended for the maintenance of the streets herein described if and when a public need exists for such maintenance.
