PAGE 1 OF 3 HOHAVE COUHTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 He A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF A CHANGE OF USE TO ALLOW THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A WAREHOUSE AND STORAGE OPERATION IN AN A-D (AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT) ZONE ON PARCEL V-C RECORD OF SURVEY, LOCATED AT THE KINGMAN AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK, LOCATED IN THE KINGMAN AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held April 6, 1992 a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to the Mohave County Airport Authority, on behalf of the City of Kingman, Arizona for a Change of Use to allow the establishment of a warehouse and storage operation in an A-D (Airport Development) zone, located at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park, Section 26, Township 22 North, Range 16 West, occupying the southwest corner of Santa Fe Drive and Windrose Lane in the Kingman area, and WHEREAS, Section 26 is located approximately four and one- half (4.5) miles north of the 1-40 and Andy Devine Avenue junction and includes the Kingman City Airport. This parcel can be accessed from Highway 66 via Industrial Parkway, east to Industrial Boulevard, thence south to Santa Fe Drive, thence east to Windrose Lane, the site occupies the southwest corner of Santa Fe Drive and Windrose Lane, and , . oA 2 OF 3 B~2032 PG 175 (FEE~92-18017) Resolution No. 92-114 Page 2 WHEREAS, current requirements within Section 13.1 of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations require that new land uses in Airport Development zones must receive approval from the Commission and Board of Supervisors. This parcel is slated to have a warehouse and storage operation. The land is currently occupied and the structure is being upgraded. Surrounding uses consist of mostly vacant land with commercial/manufacturing uses being filled in, and WHEREAS, public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on March 11, 1992 and did generate a recommendation of APPROVAL of the requested Change of Use contingent upon the following conditions: 1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of Section 13.1 (A-D zone) of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. 2. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of Sections 25, 26, 27, and 31 of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. Compliance with Section 27.P (Site Plan Requirements) and Ordinance 87-1 (Dark Sky Ordinance) is also required. 3 . That the appropriate permits be obtained. zoning/building/environmental 4. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on March 22, 1992, and posted March 20, ..- .. . PA' 3 OF 3 BK 2032 PG 176 (FEE~92-18017) Resolution No. 92-114 Page 3 1992 as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, April 6, 1992 approved this Change of Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission, subject to the conditions outlined herein.
