RESOLUTION NO. 92-263
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE ABANDONMENT AND REVERSION TO
ACREAGE OF LOTS 1 , 2 , 3 , 39 AND 40 , BLOCK 146 , NEW KINGMAN
ADDITION *10, TRACT 1103, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF
SECTION 30, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED IN THE
KINGMAN AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on August 3, 1992, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to
Vincent L. Steinhoff of Kingman, Arizona, for the abandonment and
reversion to acreage of Lots 1, 2, 3, 39 $ 40, Block 146, New
Kingman Addition #10, Tract 1103, being a subdivision of a
portion of Section 30, Township 22 North, Range 16 west,
occupying the northwest corner of North Roosevelt Street and
Northern Avenue in the Kingman area, and
WHEREAS, Lots 1-3 & 39-40 are located at the northwest
corner
of
North
Roosevelt
Street
and
Northern
Avenue
approximately one (1) mile east of Stockton Hill Road, and
WHEREAS,
review of
the
floodplain map
#040058-2165C
indicates this parcel to be clear of a designated floodplain.
The property is currently occupied by Vince's Ice Distributing
Company.
Surrounding land uses consist primarily of c~mmercial

type uses, single family homes and vacant land. The petition for
reversion to acreage is a condition of approval of Board of

Supervisors Resolution No. 91-162 which approved the zoning for
this property, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on July 8, 1992, the Commission
recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested abandonment and
reversion to acreage with the applicant understanding and
accepting the following conditions:
1. The Public works Department has reviewed this request
for abandonment and has no objection.
2. The abandonment be conditional to any comments Citizens
Utility Company may have.

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave
County, Arizona, on July 18 and 25, 1992, and posted July 15,
1992 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave
County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, August 3, 1992 APPROVED this
abandonment and reversion to acreage as recommended by the Mohave
Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
