PAGE 1 OF 3 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 HC RESOLUTION NO. 92-259 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE ABANDONMENT OF THE EXISTING FIFTY FOOT ROAD EASEMENTS AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS PRESENTLY SURROUNDING PARCEL 293, WITHIN THE SE~ SW~ SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on August 3, 1992, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to DELBAR Enterprises, Ltd., a Nevada Corporation and represented by Al Haley, Kingman, Arizona, for the abandonment of the existing fifty (50') foot road easements and public utility easements presently surrounding Parcel 293, all being within the SE~ of the SW~ Section 14, Township 21 North, Range 19 West, in the Golden Valley area, and WHEREAS, the subject property is located approximately nine and one-half (9.5) miles west of the junction of Highway 93 & 68 and is approximately two (2) miles south of Highway 68. This property is accessed from Highway 68 via Estrella Road south approximately one and three-quarters (1.75) miles to Redwall Drive, thence east approximately on-quarter (.25) mile to the northeast corner of Redwall Drive and Carrizo Road, and " . . Resolution No. 92-259 Page 2 WHEREAS, review of floodplain map #040058-2325B indicates a portion of this parcel to be within a designated floodplain. The parcel is currently vacant land and zoned A-R/10A (Agricultural- Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size). This project is bordered on the north, east and west by undeveloped land and on the south by Golden Sage Ranchos, Unit #85, and WHEREAS, this item was continued from the January, 1992 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at the request of the applicant in order to revise the preliminary planning drawings to reflect a reduced density and elimination of the proposed sewage r--'";> treatment plant, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on July 8, 1992, the Commission recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested abandonment with the applicant understanding and accepting the following conditions: I. The existing twenty foot public utility easement being the South twenty feet (20') of the North fifty feet (50') of Parcel 293, remain. 2. This abandonment will become effective upon recordation of Valley Park Estates, Tract 3041. 3. The abandonment shall be consistent with the petition submitted and the preliminary plat for Valley Park Estates, Tract 3041, PAGE 2 OF 3 BK 2089 PG 216 (FEEt~2-~2708) " . . Resolution No. 92-259 Page 3 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on July 18 and 25, 1992, and posted July 15, 1992 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, August 3, 1992 APPROVED this abandonment as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
