PAGE 1 OF 2 HOHAVE COUHTY 80ARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 He RESOLUTION NO. 92-235 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE ABANDONMENT OF THE EAST TEN (10') FEET OF FIRST STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO THE WEST BOUNDARY OF LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 35, CHLORIDE TOWNSITE, SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST, LOCATED IN THE CHLORIDE AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 6, 1992, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Marie Brymer of Chloride, Arizona, for the abandonment of the east ten (10') feet of the First Street right-of-way adjacent to the west boundary of Lots 2 and 3, Block 35, Chloride Townsite, Section 3, Township 23 North, Range 18 West, located in the "f . I Chloride area, and WHEREAS, Chloride Townsite is located approximately four (4) miles northeast of US Highway 9 3 . The subject property is accessed from US Highway 93 via State Highway 62 northeast approximately four (4) miles to First Street thence south approximately one-half (.5) mile to the northwest corner of the subject property, and WHEREAS, review of the floodplain map #040058-1975B indicates this parcel to be clear of a designated floodplain. " ~ ,r1. . . Resolution No. 92-235 Page 2 The property is currently occupied by a single family dwelling. Surrounding land uses consist primarily of single family dwellings and vacant land. The applicant desires to abandon a portion of roadway adjacent to the subject property, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on June 10, 1992, the Commission recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested abandonment with the applicant understanding and accepting the following conditions: 1. The Public Works Department has reviewed this request for abandonment and has no objection. 2. The ten (10') foot portion of the roadway revert to Lots 2 & 3, being the eastern adjacent properties. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, ";t a I newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on June 21 and 28, 1992, and posted June 19, 1992 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, July 6, 1992 APPROVED this recommended by the Mohave County Planning and MORAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS .~~ ~/LJ'/~ Lois J.
