PAGE 1 OF 2 HOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Ne '-..i RESOLUTION NO. 92-284 A RESOLUTION OF DENI~ TO AMEND THE MORAVE COUNTY ZONING REGULATIONS, BEING SECTION 27.N.l.e, TRAVEL TRAILERS SHALL NOT BE USED AS STORAGE SHEDS WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission held on April 8, 1992 a public hearing was conducted to consider adoption of an amendment to the Mohave County Zoning Regulations, and (--' ~. ~- J WHEREAS, this request for amending language of the zoning b':0 ordinance was heard by the Planning Commission at the April 8, 1992 meeting. At that meeting, a request for an amendment was heard from the People's Community Land Trust (PCLT) to allow .-.:- - travel trailers to be used as storage sheds. The request was DENIED by the Planning Commission, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that language changes were considered, public comment taken and the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission, by a vote of 7-1, recommended to the Mohave County Board of Supervisors, the DENIAL of the following amendment to the Mohave County Zoning Regulations: .. . ~ : -".. ,....". . . Resolution No. 92-284 Page 2 Section 27.N.l.e: PAGE 2 OF 2 BK 2107 PG 359 (FEE~92-50679) Travel trailers may be used as storaqe sheds: Travel trailers may be used for storage of items, excluding combustible materials such as, gasoline, kerosine, thinners, lacquers, solvents, etc. travel trailers shall not be used as storage rental units. Usage of Travel Trailers for storage purposes shall be restricted to lots or parcels upon which principle residence exists, and shall be for use of the residents of said lot or parcel only. NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the notices of hearing were published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on August 22, 1992, and in the Kingman Daily Miner, Mohave Valley Daily News, Today News, The Daily Spectrum and Desert Echo, and posted August L.:J 18, 19, 20, and 24, 1992 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. ~~ 7' NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, after public hearing at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 1992, DENIED this change to the Mohave County Zoning Regulations as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
