RESOLUTION NO. 92-325 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE REZONING OF LOT 550, GOLDEN HORSESHOE RANCHOS, UNIT 4, SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 27 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, FROM: C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: A-R (AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAl.) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE WHITE HILLS PORTION OF THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on October 5, 1992, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Fredrick Miller and Ilean Heitzenroder of Kingman, Arizona, for a zone change from the existing C-2 (General Commercial) zone to AIR (Agricultural Residential) zone, located on the east side of Golden Arrow Avenue, four hundred (400') feet north of white Hills Boulevard, in the white Hills portion of the Mohave County ~ - General area, and WHEREAS, Golden Horseshoe Ranchos, Unit #4 is located approximately eight (8) miles east of the Highway 93 and White Hills Road junction. Unit 4 is bisected by White Hills Boulevard. The subject property is accessed from White Hills Boulevard via Golden Arrow Avenue north three hundred (300') feet on the east side of the street, and . . The site is currently vacant. Surrounding land uses consist of some homes with mostly vacant land. The applicant desires to establish a single family residence and has no wish to keep the commercial zoning. The Planning Commission staff has received no written objections to this proposal, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on September 9, 1992, the Commission recommended a conditional APPROVAL of the requested I,'r.'~ , , " .., I t-"".j rezoning with the applicant understanding and accepting the \,;;,:'j following conditions: 1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of Sections 25, 26, 27, and 31 of the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. Compliance with Ordinance 87-1 (Dark Sky Ordinance) is also required. ~ - 2. That appropriate zoning/building/environmental permits be obtained. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on September 19, 1992, and posted September 15, 1992, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. . . Resolution No. 92-325 Page 3 PAGE 3 OF 3 BK 2118 PG 46 (FEE~92-55143) NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, October 5, 1992 approved this change in zoning as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
