A RESOLUTION NAMING FOUR (4) ROADS LOCATED IN TOWNSHIPS 21 & 22
NORTH, RANGE 10 WEST, LOCATED IN THE NORTH KINGMAN PORTION OF THE
MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held Monday, November 2, 1992, a public hearing
was conducted naming four (4) roads in Township 21 & 22 North,
Range 10 West, to be named DIAMOND M RANCH ROAD, RYDER ROAD,
DUFFY ROAD and SIDWELL ROAD and located north of the 1-40/Fort
Rock Interchange, in the Fort Rock portion of the Mohave County
General area, and
WHEREAS, Townships 21 & 22 North, Range 10 West are located
approximately thirty-six (36) miles east of Kingman. The subject
roads are all north of Interstate 40 (1-40) and accessed from 1-
40 via the Fort Rock Ranch Road Interchange, and
WHEREAS, the first road begins at the interchange and
extends north approximately eight and one-half (8.5) miles
terminating at a fenced dead end. The fence is the "X-1 Ranch"
gate. The proposed name for this road is DIAMOND M RANCH ROAD,

WHEREAS, the second road begins in Section 18, Township 22
North, Range 10 West on the east side of the proposed Diamond M
Ranch Road.
It extends east across Section 17 and terminates at
the east boundary of Section 16. The proposed name for this road
is RYDER ROAD, and
WHEREAS, the third road begins in the SW~ Section 17,
Township 22 North, Range 10 West on the east side of the proposed
Diamond M Ranch Road.
It extends south approximately four and
one-quarter (4.25) miles and terminates at a "T" intersection in
Section 9, Township 21 North, Range 10 West. The proposed name
for this road is DUFFY ROAD, and
WHEREAS, the fourth road begins in the SW~ Section 28,
Township 22 North, Range 10 West on the east side of the proposed
Duffy Road. It extends east approximately two and one-half (2.5)
miles and terminates at the fence line located at the Yavapai
County line.
The proposed name for this road is SIDWELL ROAD,
and
WHEREAS, the Rural Addressing Coordinator has reviewed this
request for compliance with County requirements and has indicated
approval of the proposed road names as noted, and

WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting
on October 14, 1992 did recommend APPROVAL of this road naming
request contingent upon the following conditions:
1. Compliance with specifications as set forth in Section
32 of the Mohave County regulations or its successor.
2. The approval of this request does not indicate
assumption by the County for road maintenance without
separate approval by the Board of Supervisors.
3. Road names are valid for only that portion of road
within Mohave County.
WHEREAS, the notice for this public hearing was published in
the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in
Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on October 17, 1992 and posted
October 15, 1992 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the
Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, November 2, 1992 approved
these street names as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
