RESOLUTION NO. 92-359
A RESOLUTION NAMING A ROAD LOCATED IN SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 23
NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED IN THE NORTH KINGMAN PORTION OF THE
MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held Monday, November 2, 1992, a public hearing
was conducted naming a road in Section 31, Township 23 North,
Range 16 West, currently known as 2940 East, to be named MICHELE
DRIVE and is located 585 feet west of North Bank Street between
Calle Alamo and Calle Sonoita in the North Kingman portion of the
Mohave County General area, and
WHEREAS, Section 31 is located approximately four (4) miles
north of the Butler area and lies east of Stockton Hill Road.
The subject road is accessed from Stockton Hill Road via Jane
Drive (approximately 6 miles north of Northern Avenue), east
approximately one and one-quarter (1.25) miles to Cherum Road,
thence south approximately three-tenths (.3) mile to Calle Alamo,
thence east approximately 7,622 feet to the proposed MICHELE
DRIVE.
The road is also approximately 585 feet west of North
Bank Street, is bounded by Calle Alamo and Calle Sonoita and is
currently thirty (30') feet in width.
The road is currently
unofficially identified as 2940 East, and

WHEREAS, the Rural Addressing Coordinator has reviewed this
request for compliance with County requirements and has indicated
approval of the proposed road name as noted, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting
on October 14, 1992 did recommend APPROVAL of this road naming
request contingent upon the following conditions:
1. Compliance with specifications as set forth in Section
32 of the Mohave County regulations or its successor.
2. The approval of this request does not indicate
assumption by the County for road maintenance without
separate approval by the Board of Supervisors.
WHEREAS, the notice for this public hearing was published in

the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in
Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona on October 17, 1992 and posted
October 15, 1992 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the
Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, November 2, 1992 approved
these street names as recommended by the Mohave County Planning
and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
