RESOLUTION NO. 93-77
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE APPROVED
PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN FOR VISTA LAGUNA COUNTRY CLUB
ESTATES, TRACT 3038, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP
14 NORTH, RANGE 20 WEST, AND A PORTION OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER
OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 20 WEST, LOCATED IN THE
LAKE RAVASU CITY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on AprilS, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to
vista Laguna Investment a limited partnership, Los Angeles,
California an extension of time for the approved Preliminary plan
for VISTA LAGUNA COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES, TRACT 3038, and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is Vista Laguna
Investment, a limited partnership, of Los Angeles, California.
The engineer responsible for the preparation of the drainage
report and design of this subdivision is Stovall Engineering
Incorporation, Riviera, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the proposed site is located just outside the north
boundary of Lake Havasu City and west of London Bridge Road. The
site is accessed by taking Highway 95 south to Chenoweth then
west approximately one mile then south on London Bridge Road
approximately one mile to the proposed Windsor Way, and

WHEREAS, the developer Vista Laguna Investment, is proposing
development of a two hundred ninety (290) acre site divided into
seven parels,

single-family
residential lost and one (1) commercial lot. The proposed zoning
is SD/RO, C-2, and C-RE. proposed land uses include an eighteen

hole
golf
driving
and
putting
range,
course,
recreation/restaurant/club house, visitors center, motel, R-V
storage, multifamily dwellings, open space and a wastewater
treatment facility. Multifamily dwelling type will be townhomes
comprising eight-hundred ninety-five (895) dwelling units, and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plan for this tract was approved by
the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on April 15, 1991, via BOS
Resolution 91-92.
This would be the first (1st) extension of
time, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on March 10, 1993, the Commission
recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested extension of
time with the applicant understanding and accepting the following
conditions:
1. This Extension of Time will be in effect until April 15,
1994.
2. That all conditions of BOS Resolution Number 91-92 be
complied with.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, AprilS, 1993 approved this
extension of time for the preliminary plan of VISTA LAGUNA
COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES, Tract 3038, as recommended by the Mohave
County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined here in.
