A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR
THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY PLAN AND PETITION OF EXCEPTION FOR
HORIZON ESTATES, TRACT 3030, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PARCEL 3,
ROADWAY AND UTILITY EASEMENT PLAT OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 21
NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on March 8, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted .to determine whether approval should be granted to D &
S Investments, Incorporated of Bullhead City, Arizona
an
extension of time for the approved Preliminary Plan for HORIZON
ESTATES, TRACT 3030, and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is D & S
Investments, Incorporated, Bullhead City, Arizona.
WHEREAS, the
engineering
firm
responsible
for
the
preparation of the design of
this subdivision is Mohave
Engineering Associates, Incorporated, Kingman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the proposed development is located approximately
seven plus (7.5) miles west of the junction of Highways 68 & 93
and fronts upon Highway 68's northern border. Moreover, this

prope.rty is located at the northeast corner of Highway 68 and
Hoover Road.
This proposed
subdivision is located on
approximately forty (40) acres of land, currently zoned A-R/IOA
(Agricultural Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size).
This
property is bordered on the north by Chino Drive and Golden Sage
Ranchos #51, and on the East and West by unsubdivided land, and
WHEREAS, the
preliminary
plan
for
this
was
tract
conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors
on February 4, 1991, via Board of Supervisor Resolution 91-51,
and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on February 10.
1993, the
Commission recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested
extension of time with the applicant understanding and accepting
the following conditions:
1. This Extension of Time will be in effect until February
4, 1994.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, March 8, 1993 approved this
extension of time for the approved preliminary plan and petition
of exception of HORIZON ESTATES, Tract 3030, as recommended by
the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined
here in.
