PAGE i-OF 3 nOHAVE COUNTY BOARD DF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Nt RESOLUTION NO. 93-57 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE APPROVED PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR JAMACIA SHORES, TRACT 4095, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF N~ NE~ SE~ SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 9 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, SAN BERNARDINO MERIDIAN, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on March 8, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Tom Duddleson of Los Angeles, California and Henry L. & Georgia M. Smith of Needles, California an extension of time for the approved Preliminary Plan for JAMAICA SHORES, TRACT,4095, and WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is Tom Duddleson & Jack Bradley, of Los Angeles California and Henry L. & Georgia M. Smith of Needles, California. The engineering firm responsible for the preparation of the design of this subdivision is Doyle Mecham of Las Vegas, Nevada. WHEREAS, the proposed development is currently vacant and zoned R-E (Residential-Recreation). This parcel is surrounded by other private land owners on accretion land, some of which titles are being challenged. The development consists of sixty three (63) single family home of mobile home use lots to be zoned R-l J.>"...r< , .-" ..'i:~ ": ~~" -_/" . . Resolution No. 93-57 Page 2 (Single Family Residential). This area has primarily been developed through metes and bounds parcels. However, the square mile lying to the south has been developed under the general name "Bermuda" . There are many additional development proposals in the area. Water service will be provided by the Fort Mojave Tribal Utilities Authority. All lots will be connected to this service and will also be provided sewage disposal through the Fort Mojave Sewage system. The sewage system trunk line will be constructed along the levee. WHEREAS, the preliminary plan for this was tract conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on February 4, 1991, via Board of Supervisor Resolution 91-42. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on February 10. 1993, the Commission recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested extension of time with the applicant understanding and accepting the following conditions: 1. This Extension of Time will be in effect until February 7, 1994. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, March 8, 1993 approved this extension of time for the preliminary plan of JAMAICA SHORES, PAGE 2 OF 3 BK 2186 PG 628 (F~E*93-12495) -~ "-.
