MICRDFlLMED RESOLUTION NO. 93-150 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT (ZUP) FOR AN OFF- PREMISE SIGN IN A C-2H ZONE, LOCATED IN THE SI/2 OF SECTION 4, TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE 15 WEST, LOCATJ;:D ALONG THE SOUTH FRONTAGE ROAD OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 15, IN THE ARIZONA STRIP PORTION OF MORAVE COUNTY. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors, held on June 7, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Tom Flanagan of Kunz Outdoor Advertising of San Bernadino, CA, for a Zoning Use Permit for an off-premise sign in a C-2H (General Commercial Highway Fronatage) zone in the Arizona Strip area, and WHEREAS, the subject property is located on the south of Interstate Highway IS, and east of the Littlefield interchange. 'J'he property is accessed from Interstate Highway 15 via the Littlefield exit, thence east approximately one and one-half (1.5) miles to the northwest corner of the subject property, and WHEREAS, review of floodplain map Ji'040060-00Z5B indicates the area to be clear of a designated floodplain. The property is currently zoned C-ZH and is being used for.a towing business and automobile storage a~ea. There is currently one (1) on-premise sign located on the property to advertise the established business, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 12, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the requested Zoning Use Permit, contingent upon the following: - 1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County Zoning Regulati~ns. 2. That the Zoning Use Permit will not be effective until recordation of a Parcel Plat for the subject property. 3. That appropriate zoning/building/environmental permits be obtained. 4. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 22, 1993, and posted May 21, 1993 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday June 7, 1993, approved this zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
