THE PROPOSED NAME IS COMMERCE DRIVE, LOCATED ON THE NORTH WEST SIDE OF PARCEL VI-E-B (KINGMAN AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK), LOCATED APPROXIMATELY ONE AND ONE- QUARTER (1.25) MILES NORTH OF THOMPSON AVENUE ON HIGHWAY 66 AT THE KINGMAN AIRPORT, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA .-.......... / --' ........, ( # '\ \ _:;.~_./ WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on May 3, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to the Kingman Airport Authority for a road to be named Commerce Drive, located in the Kingman Industrial Park, and WHEREAS, the Kingman Airport Industrial Park is located one (1.) mile north of the Kingman City Limits, and the entry located one and one quarter (1.25) miles north of Thompson Avenue. The subject street is located in the Kingman Airport Industrial Park and is accessed by Highway 66 via Kingman Airport Industrial Park Entrance southeast approximately one quarter (.25) miles to Industrial Blvd. thence northeast approximately one quarter (.25) miles to Mohave Airport Drive, thence southeast approximately four-hundred (400') feet to the proposed COMMERCE DRIVE. The road runs through the northern portion of Section 26 and the southern portion of Section 23, and WHEREAS, The proposed Commerce Drive south boundary begins at Mohave Airport Drive with the north boundary ending at Bruce Drive, and WHEREAS, the Rural Addressing Coordinator has reviewed this request for compliance with county requirements and has indicated approval of the proposed road name as noted, and -/' WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Con~ission on April 14, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the requested Road Naming with the applicant understanding and accepting the following conditions: ># -: ...r ,.---.~, \. ) ..:;,:.,..r . ,. ..,.--'" . . Compliance with specifications as set forth in Section 32 of the Mohave county regulations or its successor. 3. The approval of this request does not indicate assumption by the County for road maintenance without separate approval by the Board of Supervisors. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on April 17, 1993, and posted April 15, 1993 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday May 3, 1993, approved this road name change as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
