RESOLUTION NO. 93-116
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE APPROVED
PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE HIGHLANDS, TRACT 4091, BEING A
SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF THE W~ OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 18
NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA,
MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the special meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on May 3, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine the approval of the extension of time for
the approved preliminary plan, for The Highlands, Tract 4091,
located in the South Mohave Valley area, Mohave County, Arizona,
and
WHEREAS, the owner/developer of this tract is HOPAL
California Ltd., Partnership, Los Angeles, California. The
engineer responsible for the preparation of the drainage report
and design of this subdivision is Holland West, Incorporation,
Bullhead City, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the submitted preliminary plan depicts three-
hundred twenty (320) acres subdivided into seven-hundred seventy
(770) units. The minimum lot size of 7,500 square feet, and the
maximum lot size is 10,000 square feet, for a density of 2.5
units per acre, and
WHEREAS, the revised preliminary plan for this tract was
approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on April 2,
1990, via Resolution No. 90-77. Article 3.10-1 states "Upon
application to the commission and prior to the expiration of the
time limit, extensions in increments of one (1) year may be
granted by the board if the subdivider is actively processing the
final plat. If such action is not taken then all proceedings
relating to the plat shall be terminated", and
WHEREAS, at the Public Hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission on April 14, 1993, the commission
recommended conditional APPROVAL of the requested extension of
time with the applicant understanding and accepting the following
conditions:

1. Compliance with all conditions as stated in BOS
Resolution No. 90-77.
2. This extension of time will be in effect until April 2,
1994.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in a newspaper
of general circulation in Mohave County, Arizona, and posted as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday, May 3, 1993, approved the
granting of the extension of time for the Preliminary Plan for
the Highlands, Tract 4091, as recommended by the Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
