PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDIMG FEE 0.00 He MICRORLMm RESOLUTION NO. 93-248 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE REZONING OF LOT 105, BERMUDA PLANTATIONS UNIT 2, FROM R-E (RESIDENTIAL- RECREATION) ZONE, TO C-2/25M (GENERAL COMMERCIAL/TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND SQUARE FOOT LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on September 7, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for an Extension of Time for the above described property owned by Lee Chambers of Flagstaff, Arizona, and WHEREAS, Bermuda Plantations Unit 2 is located along the Colorado River just north of Needles, California, and southeast of the intersection of Highway 95 and Courtwright Road. The property is located at the intersection of Harbor Avenue and Levee Drive, and WHEREAS, the subject property at this time is currently vacant, with surrounding land uses consisting of primarily residential homes with commercial property along Harbor Avenue, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on January 7, 1991, per BOS Resolution No. 91-9, to Knox E. McCloy and Aaron and Ruth Hunton of Torrance, California. On June 1, 1992 the Mohave County Board of Supervisors approved BOS Resolution No. 92-182 for an Extension of Time for this rezoning to Lee Chambers of Flagstaff, Arizona, and WHEREAS, the applicant has requested an Extension of Time for an additional year. The applicant has stated in a letter received by Planning and Zoning July 9, 1993 that they would like the additional time to wait for sewer to become available, and WHEREAS, this request is the second Extension of Time for this rezoning, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on August 11, 1993, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of the request for an Extension of Time subject to the following conditions: y -... ....:.; . . This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being June 1, 1994. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, and posted as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 1993 APPROVED this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
