PAGE 1 OF 2 MOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECOROIAG FEE 0.00 He #5 IIDQfILMED RESOLUTION NO. 93-235 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AS-BUILT IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND RELEASE OF ASSURANCES FOR THE ORCHARDS, TRACT 3800, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF THE NW~ OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 16 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, GILA AND SALT RIVER MERIDIAN, WIKIEUP, IN THE MORAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on August 2, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine- approval for the As-Built Improvement Plans and release of all remaining financial assurances for THE ORCHARDS, Tract 3800, and r"~, r:''''~ \...~:~J WHEREAS, the owner/subdivider of this tract is Cholla Canyon Corporation, a Nevada corporation. The engineer of record on this project is Robert Schuetz of Mohave Engineering Associates, Inc., Kingman, AZ, and WHEREAS, the subdivision is located on the west side of Highway 93 in the unincorporated town of Wikieup, and WHEREAS, this tract consists of a 58-acre parcel of land divided into 42 one-acre lots, and WHEREAS, the developer was granted approval for a dry lot subdivision, with electric power to be supplied by Mohave Electric Cooperative, Inc., telephone service to be provided by Citizens Utility Company, sewage disposal to be provided by on- site septic systems, water to be furnished by the individual owners, and solid waste disposal by Mohave Disposal Corporation to the Mohave County Landfill, and WHEREAS, the Mohave County Engineer, Harold J. Ganyo, P.E., in a letter dated June 29, 1993, received by Planning and zoning on the same date, states, "All improvements of The Orchards, Tract 3800, have been completed by the developer. As-built plans and reports have been submitted. The improvements have been inspected and substantially conform to the plans, specifications, and County Standards," and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning Commission on July 14, 1993, the Commission recommended acceptance of the As-Built Improvement Plans and release of all remaining financial assurances. ~.~, .#' /~---, ~~>iJ t2~ "~i;;> . . RESOLUTION NO. 93-235 Page 2 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that notice of hearing has been met and published throughout this subdivision process and the public was afforded notice of this action through advertisement of the Board of Supervisors meeting for this date. NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, August 2, 1993, approved the acceptance of the As-Built Improvement Plans and release of remaining financial assurances for THE ORCHARDS, Tract 3800, as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
