PAGE 1 OF 2 nOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDI~G FEE 0.00 Ne RESOLUTION NO. 93-220 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR THE REZONING OF THE W~ OF THE W~ OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 20 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, FROM A-R/10A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE M/2A (GENERAL MANUFACTURING/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, "LOCATED IN THE MORAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held August 2, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to Deryle Smith of Cochella, California for an Extension of Time for a rezoning from A-R/I0A (Agriculture-Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, to M/2A (General Manufacturing Two Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, located in the McConnico area. villEREAS, Section 8 is located approximately five miles southwest of Kingman and bisected by 1-40. The subject property is accessed from 1-40 via the McConnico interchange, east to the frontage road, thence south approximately one-quarter mile to the west side of the subject property, and WHEREAS, the subject property at this time is still vacant, with no improvements in connection with the establishment of the proposed salvage, scrap and dismantling yard, and WHEREAS, this zone change was conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on June 1, 1992, per Resolution No. 92-195, to Ron and Carol Gifford of Las Vegas, Nevada, and WHEREAS, the applicant has requested an Extension of Time for one year to have the opportunity to complete the project. The applicant has stated in a letter dated May 24, 1993, and received by Planning and Zoning May 26, 1993, that they would like the additional time to comply with the conditions required by the resolution, and WHEREAS, this request is the first Extension of Time for (;.~~ this rezoning, and <J '" . . ~ RESOLUTION NO. 93-220 Page 2 WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Planning and zoning Commission on July 14, 1993, recommended APPROVAL of the requested Extension rezoning, with the applicant understanding and following conditions: Mohave County the Commission of Time for a accepting the 1. This Extension of Time be granted for one year, being June 1, 1994. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on June 26, 1993, and posted July 16, 1993 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, August 2, 1993, APPROVED this Extension of Time as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
