PAGE i OF 2 HOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.00 Ne RESOLUTION NO. 93-216 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT (ZUP) FOR A NIGHT WATCHMAN'S QUARTERS IN A C-2H/IA (GENERAL COMMERCIAL HIGHWAY FRONTAGE/ONE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, LOCATED ON LOT 3, BLOCK 0, GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS UNIT 55, SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST, LOCATED. DIRECTLY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 68 AND APPROXIMATELY ONE-QUARTER (.25) MILE WEST OF BACOBI ROAD IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held August 2, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to B.J. Morgan of Kingman, Arizona, for a Zoning Use Permit for a night watchman's quarters in a C-2H/1A (General Commercial Highway Frontage/One Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone, located on Lot 3, Block' 0, Golden Sage Ranchos Unit 55, located in the Golden Valley Area, and WHEREAS, Golden Sage Ranchos Unit 55 is located in the eastern portion of Golden valley. Unit 55 is bounded by Chino Road on the north, Bacobi Road on the east, Shipp Drive on the south and Aztec Road on the west. Highway 68 runs through the center of this unit from east to west. The subject property is located on the north side of Highway 68, between Hunt and Houck Roads, and is accessed from Highway 68, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #04058-2325B indicates the area is not located within a designated floodplain. There is currently a restaurant/bar located on the property. The surrounding land uses consist of a few scattered commercial businesses along Highway 95, with the other surrounding area consisting of scattered residential homes and vacant land, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and zoning Commission on July 14, 1993, the Commission recommended DENIAL of the requested Zoning Use Permit for a night watchman's quarters with the applicant understanding and accepting the following conditions: 1. PAGE 2 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, on June 26, 1993, and posted July 16, 1993 as required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, August 2, 1993, DENIED this Zoning Use Permit as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
