PAGE 1 OF 2 nOHAVE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISQRS R~CORDING FEE G.GO HC #r- o 'll::.- ~ -- RESOLUTION NO. 93-214 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH APPROVAL OF AS-BUILT IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND RELEASE OF ASSURANCES FOR RANCHO PALO VERDE, TRACT 4138 , BEING A SUBDIVISION OF A PORTION OF THE NE~ OF THE NE~, SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 17 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST, G&SRB&M, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH MOHAVE VALLEY, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on August 2, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine approval for the As-Built Improvement Plans and release of all remaining financial assurances for RANCHO PALO VERDE, Tract 4138, and .. .~... " WHEREAS, the owner/subdivider of this tract an Arizona Corporation. The engineer of record is Don Anderson, P.E., of Anderson-Nelson, Arizona, and is MAXIS, INC., on this project Inc. , phoenix, WHEREAS, access to the development is provided by Laguna Road on the north, which is an improved county road leading to Highway 95, approximately one and three-quarter miles to the west. Vanderslice Drive, an unimproved, maintained road to the east, also provides access and leads to Highway 95 approximately one and three-quarter miles to the south, and WHEREAS, the Preliminary Subdivision Plan depicts 40,16 acres divided into 168 lots having a minimum lot size of 6,000 square feet and a maximum lot size of 15,000 square feet, for an overall density of 4.2 lots per acre, and WHEREAS, the developer intends that water be provided by Lagoon Estates Water Company, sewage disposal by Fort Mohave Tribal Utilities, solid waste disposal by private hauler to the Mohave County Landfill, and fire protection by the Mohave Valley Fire District, and WHEREAS, the Mohave County Engineer, Harold J. Ganyo, P.E., in a letter dated June 29, 1993, received by Planning and Zoning on the same date, states, "All improvements of the Rancho Palo Verde, Tract 4138, have been completed by the developer. As- built plans and reports have been submitted. The improvements have been inspected and substantially conform to the plans, specifications, and County Standards," and '. . . RESOLUTION NO. 93-214 Page 2 WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning Commission on July 14, 1993, the Commission recommended acceptance of the As-Built Improvement plans and release of all remaining financial assurances. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that notice of hearing has been met and published throughout this subdivision process as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and Mohave County Regulations, and the public was afforded notice of this action through advertisement of the Board of Supervisors meeting for this date. NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, August 2, 1993, approved the acceptance of the As-Built Improvement Plans and release of remaining financial assurances for RANCHO PALO VERDE, Tract 4138, as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
