A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONING OF PARCEL 58, OF (ZAFIRO
ACRES) SUNWARD HO RANCHES, FROM: A-R/IOA (AGRICULTURAL-
RESIDENTIAL/ TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: A-
R/5A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/FIVE ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE,
IN SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP *~3 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY ONE-QUARTER (.25) MILE EAST OF NORTH BANK STREErr
AND DIRECTLY NORTH CALLE CASTANO ROAD IN THE LONG MOUNTAIN
PORTION OF THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA.

WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on June 7, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to
James and Mary Ellen Teeter of San Diego, CA, for a zone change
f)"t) from A-R/10A (Agricultual Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size)
v~LL.Y zone to A-R/5A (Agricultual Residential/Five Acre Minimum Lot
Size) zone, in the Long Mountain area, and
WHEREAS, Section 5 is located approximately three (3) miles
north of Jagerson Road and is bordered by Calle Alamo on the
north, north Bank Street on the west, Calle Castano on the south
and Avenida Obregon on the east . The property is accessed from
north Bank Street via Calle Castano east approximately one
thousand (1000"') feet to the southwest corner of the subject
property, and
WHEREAS, review of floodplain map #040058-2155B indicates a
portion of this parcel to be clear of a designated floodplain,
and a portion to be located in "Zone A", and would require a
special flood hazard permit. The property is currently vacant.
Surrounding land uses consist primarily of vacant land with a few
scattered residences to the north and west. There are currently
no public utilities to the site, and
WHEREAS, this rezone conforms to the Long Mountain Area
Plan, and

compliance with the schedule for development or cause
the property to revert to its former zoning
classification in accordance with Arizona Revised
Statutes Annotated, Title 11, Chapter 6, 11-832.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave
County, Arizona, May 22, 1993, and posted May 21, 1993 as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors,
at their regular meeting on Monday June 7, 1993, approved this
zone change as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and
Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
