A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A REZONING OF LOT 27, TORO ACRES,
FROM: A-R/I0A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/ TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT
SIZE) ZONE, PROPOSED TO BE: A-R/5A (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/FIVE
ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, IN SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH,
RANGE 16 WEST, LOCATED DIRECTLY NORTH OF CALLE CHARCAS AND WEST
OF AVENIDA MENDEZ IN THE LONG MOUNTAIN PORTION OF THE MOHAVE
COUNTY GENERAL AREA.

WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board
of Supervisors held on June 7, 1993, a public hearing was
conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to John
and Virginia Mason of Kingman, Arizona, for a zone change from A-
R/10A (Agricultual Residential/Ten Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone to
A-R/5A (Agricultual Residential/Five Acre Minimum Lot Size) zone,
in the Long Mountain area, and
WHEREAS, Section 19 is located approximately six (6) miles
north of Jagerson Road and is bordered by Calle Cedral on the
north, North Bank Street on the east, Calle Charcas on the south
and Cherum Road on t'he west. The property is accessed from
Stockton Hill Road via Wilks Ranch Road east approximately one
(1) mile to Cherum Road, thence north approximately one-quarter
(.25) mile to Calle Charcas, thence east approximately one-half
(.5) mile to the southwest corner of the subject property, and
WHEREAS, review of floodplain map #040058-2155B indicates
this parcel to be clear of a designated floodplain. The property
is currently vacant. Surrounding land uses consist primarily of
vacant land with a few scattered residences. There are currently
no public utilities to the site, however there is electric power
lines about one-half (.5) mile west of this parcel, and
WHEREAS, this rezone conforms to the Long Mountain Area
Plan, and
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County
Planning and zoning Commission on May 12, 1993, the Commission
recommended APPROVAL of the zone change contingent upon the
following:

2. Submittal and recordation of a Parcel Plat prepared in
accordance with Article 3.16 of the Mohave County
Subdivision Regulations.

4. That appropriate zoning/building/environmental permits
be obtained. These permits will not be issued until

compliance with the schedule for development or cause
the property to revert to its former zoning
classification in accordance with Arizona Revised
Statutes Annotated, Title 11, Chapter 6, 11-832.
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman
Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave
County, Arizona, May 22, 1993, and posted May 21, 1993 as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes, and the Mohave County
Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the
