PAGE 1 OF 2 P.OI::.-C~AO~~I~QU~JEY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS~^.tl . ~ ~u ~ r~ 0.00 He v'~ r J pJ-'" Q~~'II,q~ RESOLUTION NO. 93-362 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ZONING USE PERMIT FOR A RETAIL PLANT NURSERY IN AN A-R (AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL) ZONE ON A PORTION OF .~ LOT 18, BLOCK K, GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS UNIT 56, SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MORAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on December 6, 1993, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Zoning Use Permit for the above described property to owners James and Naomi Bruce of Kingman, Arizona, and -~'""h. r\.:-"'", '>J WHEREAS, the subject property is located approximately one- quarter mile north of Highway 68 and east of Kayenta Road. The property is accessed from. Highway 68 via Kayenta Road, then north to the subject property, and WHEREAS, review of Floodplain Map #040058-2325B indicates this parcel to be in Zone C, an area of minimal flooding, and t WHEREAS, there is a home on the lot. The remainder of the lot is vacant with some vegetation and a portion of the front yard freshly bladed. The surrounding area consists of residential homes and vacant land. The roadways providing access to the property are bladed dirt roads, and WHEREAS, at the public hearing Planning and zoning Commission on Commission recommended APPROVAL for a to the following: 1. The applicant comply with all applicable provisions of the Mohave County zoning Regulations. before the Mohave County November 10, 1993, the zoning use permit subject 2. That appropriate zoning, building, environmental and floodplain permits be obtained. . 3 . If construction or use has not commenced within one year of Board approval of the Zoning Use Permit or if the use has been discontinued for six months, then approval shall terminate at that date. WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in the Kingman Daily Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, November 21, 1993, and posted November 19, 1993, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, December 6, 1993, APPROVED this zoning use permit as recommended by the Mohave County .~ Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
